Paige Hagy is a New York-based writer and reporter.

Hello there! I was an editorial fellow on the news desk at Fortune covering how Gen Z interacts with the economy and reshapes it. I previously worked at Business Insider covering financial technology with a focus on consumer fintech and payments. Prior, I interned at American Banker through the Dow Jones News Fund. I also have experience as a fact-checker and research assistant, working with journalists on articles published in the New York Times and NPR.

While my expertise lies in business and tech reporting, I am most passionate about people-driven storytelling — using narrative feature writing to reveal complex personalities and ideas that challenge readers' preconceptions.

I graduated from The King's College, a classical liberal arts school in New York City, with a B.A. in journalism with a concentration in politics and a minor in business. There I was editor-in-chief of the Empire State Tribune, the student-run publication at King's. My work has been recognized by the Associated College Press and the New York Press Association.
