Paige Hagy is a New York-based writer and reporter.

Hello there! I am a reporter at Accounting Today covering career growth and development with a focus on young accountants in the workplace. While my expertise lies in business and tech reporting, I am most passionate about people-driven storytelling — using narrative feature writing to reveal complex personalities and ideas that challenge readers' preconceptions.

My previous work includes reporting experiences at Fortune Magazine covering general assignment breaking news, and at Business Insider covering financial technology with a focus on consumer fintech and payments. Prior, I interned at American Banker through the Dow Jones News Fund. I also have experience as a fact-checker and research assistant, working with journalists on articles published in the New York Times and NPR.

I graduated from The King's College, a classical liberal arts school in New York City, with a B.A. in journalism, a concentration in politics and a minor in business. There I was editor-in-chief of the Empire State Tribune, the student-run publication at King's. My work has been recognized by the Associated College Press and the New York Press Association.
